STRUCTURAL REPORT

Today, the original Ybor City factory of the Ferlita Macaroni Co. is at risk of demolition. The owner allowed this historic structure to deteriorate and all that remains of the factory is the exterior brick facade. The Italian Club of Tampa is negotiating with he owner to receive ownership of the old Macaroni Factory to possibly save this structure from demolition.

Together with the efforts of the Italian Club, Joe Capitano, Sr. and the factory's grandson, Kenneth Ferlita and others are working toward securing this building and help retain a valuable piece of Ybor City's Italian history.
